From romantic meals to schussing with your sweetheart, celebrating with your gal pals or putting your romantic thoughts on paper, regional Valentine’s Day deals abound.

Breakfast in bed

Spoil your sleepy sweetie on Valentine’s Day with the hot or cold beverage of their choice and a heart-shaped bagel from Bruegger’s Bagels.

Orders can be placed through Feb. 13, and blueberry, plain and cinnamon raisin versions of the special bagels will be available in stores Feb. 14.

If your honey equates Cupid with cold weather activities, the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association suggests some slopeside romance.

And if all of that exercise works up an appetite, several area resorts also offer celebratory sweetheart dinners as well.

‘Time’ for your sweetie

From 6-9 p.m. through Feb. 14-16, Hidden Valley Resort’s Clock Tower Restaurant will offer a special sweetheart menu.

Sip and savor

At 6 p.m. Feb. 14, Nemacolin Woodland’s Resort’s Lautrec restaurant will feature a four-course dinner with champagne. The event begins with passed hors d’oeuvres and guests will dine on four specially made courses that will be paired with sparkling wines.

Mountain view

From 4:30-9 p.m. Feb. 13-14, the Seven Springs Mountain Resort’s Slopeside restaurant will serve a Valentine’s Day dinner buffet.

Feasts and photos

Market Square’s Roost, 242 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, will offer a three-course Valentine’s menu through Feb. 16, featuring blue crab fritters or brisket crostini appetizers, Boston strip loin and butter-poached lobster and chocolate cake or vanilla bean cheesecake.

Diners also can strike a pose with their cupids in a photo booth.

For your sweetheart

Lidia’s Pittsburgh also has a sweethearts’ menu, available Feb. 14-16 at the Strip District restaurant.

The three-course tasting menu, with optional wine pairing, includes a choice of antipasti, first choices of pappardelle or risotto, second choices of tonnno (yellowfin tuna), lasagna, bocconcini de pollo (chicken and sausage bites), pollo al limone (lemon chicken) or filleto di manzo (fillet of beef with broccoli rabe), followed by tiramisu.

Galentine’s cocktails

The unofficial holiday Galentine’s Day, celebrated Feb. 13, is a shout out from women to their besties, and a perfect time to spend time with or treat our favorite gals.

Bahama Breeze Island Grille will offer its Bahama Mama cocktail and its dessert, Chocolate Island, for $5 each through Feb. 13.

Special delivery and love letters

If spending time with your love unwinding is your Valentine wish, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is offering hotel specials for Feb. 14-15 including a bottle of wine and a Postmates food gift card.

The hotel also is offering, throughout February, the opportunity for visitors and guests to use its pop-up love letter writing desk to pen keepsake words of love. Stationery and pens will be provided, along with books of love letters and poems to inspire anyone with writer’s block.

Sex, love and science

The Carnegie Science Center will continue the Valentine’s theme from 6-10 p.m. Feb. 15 with its 21+ Night: Sex, Love, and Science, featuring experiments that put the strength of latex to the test, sensory speed dating and four floors of exhibits.

The Bill Henry Band will provide live music in PointView Hall.

Visitors can learn about the science behind scents believed to have an aphrodisiac effect, sample “love potions,” learn about human biology and reproduction with expert speakers and enjoy drinks from the cash bars.

A discount ticket price of $9.95 allows admission to “Da Vinci The Exhibition” before its public opening.

Tickets are $15.
