Burgatory is sponsoring the seventh annual “The Pittsburgher Burger Bash,” with numerous regional contenders competing for the title of “Best Burger in the ‘Burgh.”
The bash is set 1 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the 299 West Bridge St., Homestead location.
A panel of notable food enthusiasts, including The Paramount Network series “Bar Rescue” chef Brian Duffy, will judge more than 20 burger recipes and crafted cocktails.
Ticketholders can vote for the people’s choice winner.
According to a release, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Biggie’s Bullies, a foster home-based rescue for pit bull type dogs in Pittsburgh, and Face 2 Face Healing, which works to build a community for people with disfigurements.
Guests will enjoy live music, interactive games, a Burgatory shake stand and contests.
Vying for “best” burger will include Bobby D’s BBQ PA, The Pittsburgh Bottleshop Cafe, Burgh’ers Brewing, Coughlin’s Law Kitchen and Ale House, The Crafty Jackalope, Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh, Jamison’s on West Liberty, The Vault Taproom, Twelve Whiskey Barbecue, Winghart’s Burger & Whiskey Bar and Wolife’s Pub.
The Pittsburgher and Diana Rua Media are producing the bash.
Tickets range from $10 to $65.
