A lot of foods go good with beer and Brew Gentlemen is betting that you think Cajun and Haitian inspired dishes are among them.

The popular Braddock craft brewer is holding a “Creole Cookout” Saturday at its new outdoor venue BG Open Air, a collaboration with the Blue Sparrow which has recently expanded its fleet of food trucks to include a vintage Greyhound Bus.

The Blue Sparrow will be taking over BG Open Air, providing a savory menu that will include jambalaya burgers, Cajun grilled wings, and alligator gumbo made with real alligator, but not from any that were found recently on Pittsburgh area streets.

The outdoor bar will have four beers and one cider from Arsenal available, all for $5.

BG Open Air is “family-friendly” until 6 p.m., after which the space is for patrons over 21.
