Bluegrass, history, pollination on tap at Ligonier Country Market

Historic Hanna’s Town will be represented at this week’s Ligonier Country Market, demonstrating some of the 18th-century activities and games that will be offered during its June 22-23 Frontier Court Days.

Those attending Ligonier Country Market on June 15 will see previews of some coming area attractions.

A sampling of the musicians who will perform at the 17th annual Laurel Highlands Bluegrass Festival the weekend of June 21-22 in nearby Waterford will be on hand to share festival information.

In addition, representatives of Historic Hanna’s Town will demonstrate some of the 18th-century activities and games that will be offered at the Colonial Kids Activity Station during Frontier Court Days on June 22-23.

Children visiting the market can enjoy an activity with Daisy Mae and Lilly Lavender.

They also can and learn about the beauty and importance of pollinators at the Children’s Garden as part of Pollinator Palooza.
