It’s going to be more expensive to send that birthday card, letter or bill in the mail, starting Sunday.

The United States Postal Service will raise the price of a first-class Forever stamp from 60 cents to 63 cents in a move announced in October.

This will be the third increase in the past four years, from 55 cents in 2019, 58 cents in 2021 and 60 cents in 2022.

The price to send a postcard will also climb from 44 cents to 48 cents.

Other changes include increases to certified mail, shipping insurance and post office box rental fees.

Just last year, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy warned that Americans should get used to “uncomfortable” postage rate increases in the coming years.
