Ticket prices to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour drop — slightly
Swifties take note: If you are still in need of seats for Saturday’s Acrisure Stadium concert, you might not have to fork over an arm and a leg for tickets.
Just an arm seems like it will suffice.
Swift’s “Eras Tour” shows have been setting records across the country — not just for fan attendance but for ticket prices.
Ticket prices have dropped ever so slightly since Friday night, with the lowest prices of $789 (VividSeats), $846 (SeatGeek) and $857 (StubHub) as of 1 p.m. Saturday. By 6 p.m. Saturday, the lowest prices were $687 (SeatGeek), $745 (VividSeats) and $846 (StubHub).
At 11:30 p.m. Friday, there were four sets of two tickets available in the $900s, with the lowest $929 each on StubHub. At that same time, SeatGeek’s lowest price was $879 each, while VividSeats were at $851 apiece.
As of 6 p.m. Friday, the cheapest tickets on StubHub to Saturday’s show at Acrisure started at $937, after ranging between about $1,000 and $1,100 earlier in the day. At 7:30 p.m. Friday, the lowest price for Saturday night tickets were $875 each.
Stories of people spending thousands on seats are not uncommon. As of Thursday, most seats hovered in the $1,300-$2,500 range.
However, as of Friday morning a check of several sites showed some relative bargains were there for the taking.
On StubHub, seats were available starting around $876. VividSeats had a few for as low as $794. TicketCity had seats starting at $873.
Over on MegaSeats, tickets were slashed from $1,252 to $1,064. TicketNetwork’s prices continued to be slightly higher, with the cheapest offerings at $1,125.
The cheapest tickets earlier this week had been going for about $1,100. Most seats in the stadium’s lower bowl were going for $2,000 to $6,000. That remained the case Friday morning.
However, with less than hour to go before showtime Friday, tickets could be found starting at $605 (with limited or obstructed view) on StubHub, while some seats near the stage were in the $900 range.
By 7:30 p.m., tickets hadn’t fallen much more, with the lowest available at $600 on StubHub. However, on SeatGeek, the lowest prices available were $546 apiece for a pair of tickets in Section 102 with limited view, and at least 15 pairs available for less than $600 each (before fees, of course).
Prices looked like they had been dropping a bit early Friday on several ticketing sites. A search Friday morning of various ticket resale websites showed seats in Section 541 going for just over $800. The prices are fluctuating seemingly by the minute.
