Country stars Jason Aldean, Gabby Barrett coming to Star Lake for concert
Country singer Jason Aldean’s Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour has an Aug. 26 date at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown.
Pre-sale tickets will be available at 10 a.m. Thursday with the code “CURTAIN,” with public ticket sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, both at ticketmaster.com.
Munhall native Gabby Barrett and John Morgan also will be on the bill.
The 34-city tour kicks off July 15 in Scranton and wraps up Oct. 29 in Wichita, Kan.
Aldean is in the midst of rolling out a double studio album, “Macon, Georgia.” The first half, “Macon,” was released in November. The second half, “Georgia,” is set for an April 22 debut.
The tour takes its name from one of the three singles from the second half of the album that have already been released. The other two are “Trouble With A Heartbreak” and “Whiskey Me Away.”

Aldean has received four Grammy Award nominations, twice for Best Country Album. The country rap, “Dirt Road Anthem,” from the quadruple-platinum 2010 album, “My Kinda Party,” earned a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance.
Aldean’s 2012 album, “Night Train,” is certified double-platinum, while three others are certified platinum. His discography includes more than 20 No. 1 singles,
“American Idol” veteran Barrett won a 2021 CMT Music Award for best female video. She also has earned honors from the Academy of Country Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, iHeart Radio Music Awards and American Music Awards.
Her single, “I Hope,” has been covered by pop singer/songwriter Charlie Puth.
North Carolina native Morgan began touring the bluegrass festival circuit at age 8 with his family’s band, later moving to Nashville to pursue a country music career. Several of his songs have been covered by Aldean, including “If I Didn’t Love You,” a duet with with Carrie Underwood on which Morgan has co-writing credit.
