NBC's 'The Voice' to hold Pittsburgh auditions
Got a good voice? Don’t hog it all to yourself, Pittsburgher.
NBC’s “The Voice” will be in town on June 19 to hold auditions — maybe it’s your voice they’re looking for.
The network’s reality competition has announced the private, invite-only session on its website. Those seeking a slot must register for an official “Voice” account, then submit a performance link. Casting representatives will review the applicants and contact their selections with more details on where the auditions will be held.
The registration form has singers — solo or duos — picking from various genres, including pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, alternative, Latin, country, blues, indie. To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen and at least 13 years old.
The only other option for a Pittsburgher to audition would be the three open-call auditions in Chicago (June 22), Los Angeles (June 29), or Atlanta (July 27).
Before you register, you might want to check out the guidelines to auditioning.
