Iconic performer Marie Osmond is coming to Greensburg’s Palace Theatre on July 10.
“An Evening With Marie Osmond,” beginning at 8 p.m., will feature her country, rock, pop and Broadway hits. She will be accompanied by her band, a symphonic orchestra and special guests.
Osmond reached the No. 1 spot on two Billboard charts with her 1973 debut single, “Paper Roses.”
She is a multiple gold and platinum-selling artist and Country Music Award winner. Her most recent studio release is “Music Is Medicine” from 2016, which reached the top 10 on both Billboard and iTunes country charts, according to a release.
Osmond is the sister of the members of The Osmond Brothers, a pop group that had 1970s hits such as “One Bad Apple.”
With her brother Donny Osmond, she performed on the NBC television show “Donny & Marie” from 1976 to 1979. The duo also had a long-running residency at The Flamingo in Las Vegas.
She is the author of three New York Times bestselling books and is a co-founder of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since September, she has been a co-host on a CBS daytime show, “The Talk.”
Osmond is working on a new symphonic album, which will feature half Broadway and half classical popular songs, according to the release.
Tickets for The Palace show are $79-$150.
