Lizzo grabs top spot on Billboard Hot 100 in wild time for chart
There’s been a rotating crew of champs when it comes to a Billboard title.
Six artists were part of a Hot 100 top track since mid-August.
Lizzo grabbed the top spot for the week of Sept. 7, going on 2 years since she released “Truth Hurts” in September 2017.

Prior to that, “Senorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello as well as “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish each spent a week atop the chart.
This is the third consecutive week in which an artist has earned their first career No. 1 (@lizzo follows @billieeilish and @ShawnMendes).
The last time three artists earned their first No. 1s in 3 straight weeks was in July 2000, with @VerticalHorizon, @MatchboxTwenty & @NSYNC.
