Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s former house for sale in Seattle

The home where Kurt Cobain killed himself is on the market.

Listed for $7.5 million, the Queen Anne-style home in the Denny Blaine neighborhood of Seattle, was the scene of the Nirvana singer’s death in 1994, reported SeattlePI.

According to the listing by realtor Ewing & Clark, the home was built in 1902, features a shingled exterior and has been completely updated throughout.

The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms with 8,212 square-feet of living space. The property sits on less than an acre, but is a block from Lake Washington and is 15 minutes from downtown Seattle.

While not mentioning its connection to rock history, the listing describes the house as “a once in a lifetime opportunity!”

The listing includes some exterior photos of the house, but no pictures of the interior.

Cobain and wife Courtney Love purchased the home in 1994, and lived there for three months, before Cobain’s suicide on April 5, 1994.

Love sold the property for $2.895 million in 1997, according to Architectural Digest. And according to property records, a detached garage was added in 1999, replacing the building where Cobain killed himself.

Recently, the owner of a Seattle record store found a royalty check from 1991 and a money order for rent from 1990, both with Cobain’s name on them.
