The Jonas Brothers dropped in on fans in State College on Friday night with a surprise show at Champs Downtown. They shared photos on social media.

The Jonas Brothers dropped in on fans in State College on Friday night with a little help from Penn State football head coach James Franklin.

The three brothers, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas, who exploded on the scene in 2005 on the Disney Channel, recently released two new songs and a video and a new album is on the way after a long hiatus.

The trio announced their surprise show on social media and fan packed Champs Downtown, a bar near campus. The brothers debuted their new single “Cool” and bought drinks for everyone at the bar, according to the Daily Collegian.

Coach Franklin introduced the brothers and presented them with Penn State football jerseys, which the brothers quickly put on. Franklin welcomed the brothers as part of the Penn State family and announced “we gotta convince these guys to be on the sidelines for White Out” to the cheers of the fans in the bar. He then lead the school chant with “We are” and the fans responded loudly “Penn State.”

The Jonas Brother played old and new songs and shared photos and video on Twitter showing them with their new jerseys and thanking the community:

According to the Collegian, the band made the surprise performance at Champs, after the bar won Barstool Sports’ best college bar Twitter contest. Joe asked his followers to vote for Champs. Joe hinted that he had “something special up my sleeve” if the bar won. Apparently he spent his 21st birthday at the band and is a huge fan.

But Sophie Turner, the actress who stars in “Game of Thrones” and who’s engaged to Joe, almost stole the show. She posted a video to Instagram of the crowd chanting “Lady Stark.”
