Janet Jackson's 'Black Diamond' tour coming to PPG Paints Arena
Janet Jackson’s summer Black Diamond World Tour of arenas across North America will feature an all-new production featuring new music from her forthcoming album “Black Diamond,” set for release this year.
The dance-pop icon also will perform songs from her 12 multi-platinum albums, including “Rhythm Nation 1814,” her 1989 concept album that recently marked its 30th anniversary.
The tour kicks off June 24 in Miami and will visit major cities across the U.S. and Canada, including a July 10 Pittsburgh date at PPG Paints Arena.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon Feb. 13 at livenation.com.
Jackson, the younger sister of the late music legend Michael Jackson, has won five Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award and numerous American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. She has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and for a Best Original Song Academy Award.
Her music has sold more than 185 million records worldwide, with hits including “Rhythm Nation,” “Miss You Much,” “Nasty” and “What Have You Done for Me Lately.”
