For King & Country has postponed its upcoming Pittsburgh concert. Here, the group performs at the 2018 Dove Awards in Nashville, Tenn.

For King & Country has postponed its Burn the Ships North America: The 2020 Encore Tour.

The tour included a June 9 date at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood.

The Christian pop group is fronted by Australian-born brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. The tour is named after the group’s third studio album, released in 2018 and featuring the singles, “Burn the Ships,” “Joy” and “God Only Knows.”

“We’re working our hardest to comply with the government and medical communities to ensure that the moment we see you in concert again is safe and all clear,” the Smallbones said in a release. “In an effort to get to you as safely as possible, we are working on a combination of maintaining, rescheduling and pausing certain dates.”

To encourage fans in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, the group released a new song, “Together,” filmed with Christian music stars Kirk Franklin and Tori Kelly each performing in their own homes.

New dates for the tour will be announced when they are scheduled. Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new dates.
