Eagles announce limited 2020 'Hotel California' tour

Looks like there’s still plenty of room at the Hotel California.

The Eagles announced Tuesday the band will hit the road to perform its iconic 1976 album “Hotel California” in its entirety in a six-city, 12-date tour.

Just last month the band, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill, performed the full album in a set of three sold-out concerts in Las Vegas.

The tour will start with two dates at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Feb. 7 and 8. Then the Eagles hit the road for dates in New York City, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and then Los Angeles.

According to the band’s website, “Each night’s concert will feature a ‘Hotel California’ set, with an accompanying orchestra and choir, followed by an additional set of the band’s greatest hits.”

Tickets will go on sale Oct. 18, with early access (Oct. 14) for American Express card holders.

“Hotel California” won the Grammy award in 1977 for best album.

A set list from the Las Vegas shows reveals the band played, in addition to the full “Hotel California” album, tracks including “Seven Bridges Road,” “Take It Easy,” “One of These Nights,” “Take It to the Limit,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Witchy Woman,” “Lyin’ Eyes” and “Peaceful Easy Feeling” along with several solo songs by band members.

Gill, a country star, joined the band in 2017, along with founding member Glenn Frey’s son, Deacon Frey. Glenn Frey died in 2016.
