Christian pop singer Amy Grant to sing at Plum church
Singer Amy Grant, sometimes called “The Queen of Christian Pop,” will perform at 7 p.m. May 4 at Amplify Church, Pittsburgh East Campus, 9400 Saltzburg Road, Plum.

Since the beginning of her music career in the late 1970s, Grant has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, including three multi-platinum and four gold. She has received six Grammy Awards and 26 Dove Awards and is a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
Grant gained fame in Christian music during the 1980s with hits like “Father’s Eyes,” “El Shaddai” and “Angels.”
In the mid-1980s, she became one of the first contemporary Christian music artists to cross over into mainstream pop with her albums “Unguarded” and “Lead Me On.”
Her latest release is “Tennessee Christmas” from 2016.
Grant is married to country music singer-songwriter Vince Gill, with whom she sometimes performs.
