Chance the Rapper’s Big Tour is over, even before it began.

The rap artist announced Sunday on Instagram that he’s calling of the tour that was set to make a Pittsburgh stop at PPG Paints Arena on Feb. 20.

“Hey guys I’ve decided to cancel the Big Tour,” Chance wrote on Instagram. “I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best. I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date.

I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there. I truly love you and God bless.

“I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert,” the rapper said. “Thank you all for an amazing year, and a huge thanks to my team and family for being so strong through this whole year. I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there. I truly love you and God bless.”

The Grammy Award-winning rapper was touring in support of his album “The Big Day,” released July 26.

Chance’s tour was announced in July, and his Pittsburgh date was originally set for Oct. 6, but that date — along with several others — was changed in late September.

Then, on Dec. 2, Chance tweeted a Cyber Monday “2 for 1” deal on tour tickets.

Songs on “The Big Day” were inspired by the rapper’s March 2019 wedding to his longtime girlfriend. The wedding took place at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. In early September, the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Marli.

The tour’s website page and the PPG Paints tour page have been removed.
