Greensburg Art Center open house to feature artist talk

Artist Peg Panasiti of Latrobe will present “Passionate for Still Lifes,” a talk on her creative process, during the Cafe Art open house from 2-4 p.m. April 7 at the Greensburg Art Center, 230 Todd School Road, Hempfield.

Panasiti’s informal talk will reveal why she likes painting still lifes, and demonstrate how she sets up and starts her paintings.

Visitors to the free event also will be able to view “Our Teaching Artists,” the current group exhibition of works by artists who teach at the center.

Special offers and discounts will be offered on a large selection of artworks, handcrafted gift items and accessories available for purchase.

Coffee and cookies will be served.
