Celina Pompeani Mathison won’t go on maternity leave from “PTL” until late July.

Q: Is Celina Pompeani Mathison leaving PTL? She was at the Pens practice on the show earlier this month, and they were saying goodbye to her. I know she is pregnant and didn’t think she was taking time off already.

Rob: Pompeani Mathison isn’t expected to go on maternity leave from “Pittsburgh Today Live” until July 28, a couple of weeks after “PTL’s” Mikey Hood begins her maternity leave. And even after that, because Pompeani Mathison will record segments for the show in advance, she will continue to appear on “PTL” through mid-October.

“Our viewers won’t even know I’m on a maternity leave since I’ll have so many segments airing still, which will be great!” said Pompeani Mathison, who is due to give birth the first week of September. No word yet on when she’ll return to “PTL” after her maternity leave.

She said she is leaving her role with the Penguins because of her impending motherhood.

“The hardest decision for me was to leave the Pens after this season,” Pompeani Mathison said. “I can’t wait to bring the baby to games next season!”

Q: Where has Channel 11 forecaster Stephen Cropper been for the weather? Seems like I haven’t seen him since the end of March. I really enjoy watching him for our weather.

— Donna, via email

Rob: My understanding is he has been out for knee replacement surgery but likely will be back on the air later this week.

Q: Is there a chance that the Pirates and Penguins could end up on a major network, e.g. CBS, ABC, NBC, ESPN, etc.?

— Ralph, via email

Rob: At this point, anything is possible, but I think any of those scenarios is highly unlikely.

The same cord-cutting issue that’s undercutting regional sports networks is hurting broadcast channels and ESPN, too, so it would be out of the frying pan and into the fryer. The leagues will have to find some way to manage the decline of cable while planning for the future with a streaming service.

Q: On “The Night Agent” on Netflix a character, Matteo, has a Latrobe, Pa., driver’s license that is shown briefly. Any crew link to Western Pennsylvania?

— Thomas, via Facebook

Rob: Per “Night Agent” showrunner Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”), there is “no one on the staff with W. Pennsylvania ties, but it seemed to us like a good, real place for someone to be from.”

Q: When will Netflix release the final episodes of “Manifest”?

— John, via email

Rob: Season four, part two, will debut June 2 on Netflix.

Q: Regarding your article about HBO Max revamped, will the streaming service still be free to HBO cable subscribers after the change May 23?

— Joe via Facebook

Rob: According to a Max spokesperson, if you get HBO Max with your cable package now, you will have access to Max.
