Seth Meyers adds 2nd show to Pittsburgh appearance

Due to popular demand, a second show has been added for comedian and late night television host Seth Meyers’ June 14 date at the Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall, 510 E 10th Ave., Munhall.

The first show is at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6:00 p.m. A 9:30 p.m. show has been added, with doors open at 8:45 p.m.

Tickets for both shows, at $39.50-$59.50, are on sale now at 877-4-FLY-TIX, ticketfly.com and librarymusichall.com.

Meyers is host of NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers” and was a “Saturday Night Live” cast member for 13 seasons.

He served as head writer for nine seasons and “Weekend Update” anchor for eight. In 2011, he won the Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for a musical monologue performed by host Justin Timberlake.

Meyers created the famous line, “I can see Russia from my house,” uttered by Tina Fey playing former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
