Keanu Reeves gives new ‘Toy Story’ character depth
Keanu Reeves takes his acting seriously… even when voicing the character of a toy.
Th actor has a part in “Toy Story 4” as new toy Duke Caboom, a Canadian stuntman. But before he took the role, he wanted to make sure the character had depth and a background.
“He didn’t just come to do a funny cartoon voice, he dug deep,” producer Jonas Rivera told USA Today at Tuesday night’s “Toy Story 4” premiere.
“He’s like a legit movie star, but a gentleman, and one of the most thoughtful actors we ever worked with,” Rivera said, after Reeves walked by to coolly say “What’s up, what’s up?” to Pixar producers.
