KDKA meteorologist Mary Ours will be off the air until the summer because she’s going on maternity leave.
On Sunday morning, Ours announced on social media that she would be taking a break to give birth to a son. And she used the hashtag #38weekspregnant so it could be soon.
“I’m so excited to welcome our baby boy Wally into this world any day now,” Ours wrote. “I’ll be back on (KDKA) in the summer, I promise! Until then, stay tuned for baby pics!”
Ours, a Beaver Falls native, joined KDKA in October of 2019 after previous stops at WJAC in Johnstown and WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio.
