The first look at Season 3 of Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” was released to social media on Wednesday.
And we’re already hooked.
When we last left Elisabeth Moss’ Offred (or really, June), she chose to remain behind in Gilead, while her baby escpaed to freedom in Canada.
Now, she’s left to suffer the consequences, which is being tried for “heresy” and not for helping people escape. Because, as Offred says in a voiceover, “officially, there’s no such thing as escape.”
She’s chosen to change things from the inside. “I’m going to need allies,” Offred says, “Allies with power.”
It seems like Offred is set to call on the aid of Bradley Whitford’s Commander Joseph Lawrence and Yvonne Strahovski’s Mrs. Waterford.
We’re so ready to see this all go down — and we will beginning June 5.
As the trailer announces, “Witness the birth of a revolution.”
