Extras are needed for filming in Pittsburgh of “Happiest Season,” a Tristar/Sony feature film starring Kristen Stewart, who first came to fame portraying Bella Swan in the “Twilight” movies.
Local filming will take place from mid-January to late February, according to movieextraspittsburgh.com.
According to the website, the filmmakers are looking for “kids, teens, adults, and senior citizens of all ethnicities! Extras will portray Pittsburgh pedestrians & city folk, holiday tourists, party guests, coffee shop patrons, ice skaters, restaurant patrons, college frat boys, country club attendees, shoppers, & more fictional characters of all types! Hundreds will be employed over the course of filming.
“We are committed to inclusive, diverse casting,” the website says.
People interested in becoming extras should email happiestseasonextras@gmail.com, including name and age in the subject line.
The email should include name, age, height, weight, phone number and current photo. Prospective extras also can include information on their personal vehicles, if desired, including make, model, year and color.
“The story follows ‘Abby’ (Kristen Stewart), whose plan to propose to her girlfriend, ‘Harper’ (Mackenzie Davis), while at her family’s annual holiday party is upended when she discovers ‘Harper’ hasn’t yet come out to her conservative parents,” the website says.
