William Shatner leads celebrity lineup at next Steel City Comic Con
Twenty celebrities, from William Shatner to Barry Bostwick and Kate Flannery to Karen Allen, will attend the Steel City Comic Con April 12-14 at the Monroeville Convention Center, 209 Mall Blvd.
Show hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are on sale now, with discounts available, at $17.50 Friday and Sunday (regular $23) and $23 Saturday (regular $35); and a three-day pass at $38 (regular ($50).
Admission is free to those age 10 and under.
Shatner is best known for portraying Captain Kirk on the USS Enterprise in “Star Trek,” and for more recent roles on “The Practice” and “Boston Legal.”
Comedian Rob Schneider, of “Saturday Night Live,” “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” and “Grown Ups,” will attend.
Actors Judge Reinhold, of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” through “The Santa Claus, 1, 2 and 3”; Tom Berenger, known for roles in “Major League” and “Platoon”; Billy Zane, of “Dead Calm” and “Titanic”; and comedian Pauly Shore also are on the list of those set to appear.
WWE and WCW wrestling commentator Jim Ross, actors Barry Bostwick, Denis O’Hare, Ke Huy Quan and Karen Allen, a star of “Indiana Jones,” are scheduled.
Several performers from the popular sitcom “The Office” will attend, including Oscar Nunez, Kate Flannery and Creed Bratton.
Rounding out of the list for the spring show are actors Laura Vandervoort, “Bitten”; Avi Nash, “The Walking Dead”; Lori Petty, Dwight Schultz, Walter Koening and Eddie Furlong.
