Greensburg Art Center is partnering with the Greensburg Hempfield Library for an upcoming exhibition from artist Janice Decker.

“Picture This at the Library” runs from April 17 through May 29. A reception from 6-8 p.m. May 3 is open to the public.

Artists interested in exhibiting for the 2020 season are asked to contact contact Rosemary Sovyak at 412-558-0810.

In addition, the art center will host “Art on the Vine: TAHITI,” from 6-9 p.m. April 26.

Hand-painted wine glasses with tropical themes in the style of Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin will be filled with wines from Greendance Winery for the event, according to an art center release.

The wine tasting will be paired with food appropriately chosen to compliment the flavors of each wine.

Groove Elements Trio will provide live music for listening and dancing.

A photo booth and props will be available to commemorate the tropical paradise reflected in Gauguin’s art from his time in Tahiti.

Tickets are $50 and include a hand-painted wine glass.

”Art on the Vine” is the center’s major fund-raising event. Donations will be accepted as well.
