East Suburban Artists League will host a free opening reception of its show at the newly renovated Latrobe Art Center, 819 Ligonier St., from 6-8 p.m. April 13.
According to a release, 44 artists from communities throughout Westmoreland and Allegheny counties will showcase 80 works of original art. Included will be paintings and drawings in all media, photography, fine crafts and mixed media.
Much of the work will be for sale.
Diane Murray, artist, photographer, instructor and president of Whitehall Arts, will serve as show judge. Awards will be presented during the reception.
The show will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays, April 3-30.
