'Health issues' prompt postponement of Alan Jackson concert at PPG Paints Arena
The Alan Jackson concert scheduled for Saturday at PPG Paints Arena has been postponed.
According to a statement from show organizers, the country music star has been dealing with “health issues” stemming from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease for the past decade. The genetic condition causes nerve damage and has affected Jackson’s balance and ability to walk.

“I hoped I’d be able to be there; I hate to disappoint my fans,” Jackson said on his website. “I tried as much as I could to play this show at this time.”
Organizers say fans should keep their tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled date in 2023. Additional information will be sent to ticket holders via email, organizers said.
