This fall, Pennsylvania passed a bill for universal background checks, but several other crucial gun safety measures failed, including extreme risk protection orders and restrictions on untraceable firearms and machine gun conversion devices.

Our own Rep. Valerie Gaydos voted no on these bills. Her votes leave loopholes open, putting families, schools and communities at risk.

Rep. Gaydos, your constituents deserve leadership that protects, not policies that expose us to harm. We urge you to support legislation that closes firearm loopholes, backs extreme risk protection orders and strengthens Pennsylvania gun safety laws.

Our children and neighbors deserve leaders who act to keep them safe.
