Six of Sewickley Academy seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation — an honor that recognizes exceptional academic achievement and puts these students among the top performers nationwide on the PSAT/NMSQT.
This year’s semifinalists are Emma Ehan, Caroline Kain, Elijah Koziar, Raneem Wahdan, Maren Webb and Marcus Zhan.
The students are now eligible to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships to be awarded in the spring.
