Single-lane restrictions along the Tarentum Bridge are planned for next week as part of inspection activities, PennDOT officials announced.

Restrictions in each direction of the bridge that connects Tarentum and New Kensington will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

Officials said traffic will not be restricted in both directions simultaneously.

Inspection work under the bridge next Friday will not require lane restrictions, officials said.

Crews from the Larson Design Group will conduct the inspections .

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns.
