A number of municipal and school board races in the Quaker Valley are uncontested for the May 20 Primary Election, according to the Allegheny County Office of Elections’ unofficial candidate list.
Aleppo
A township commissioners’ race has only two Republican candidates seeking party nods for three seats. The term is four years.
Candidates are commissioners’ President George Jones and incumbent Daniel Darragh.
There are no Democratic candidates.

Democrat Mayor Kenneth Alvania seeks his party’s nomination for another four-year term.
