Fox Chapel Area School District officials announced school is canceled for students Friday due to power outages, multiple road closures, and downed electrical wires.

There will also be no online learning from home.

The district will offer free meals to all students and their families on Friday.

Anyone wishing to participate in the “take-and-go” meal distribution is set for 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at Kerr Elementary School, 341 Kittanning Pike.

Visitors are asked to follow the bus loop to the back of the building. Meals will be distributed in a drive-thru manner, and no reservations are necessary.

More information about district activities is available at fcasd.edu.
