• North Allegheny’s student newspaper, The Uproar: The Student Voice of North Allegheny Senior High, was named a 2024–25 Distinguished Site by Student Newspapers Online for the sixth consecutive year.
The Uproar consists of 22 members: Jaycee Mae Faber and Grace Thomas, co-editors-in-chief; Fiona Engel, news and features editor; Annika Good, opinion and arts editor; Noah Cerimele and Jacob Clarkson, sports co-editors; Scout Gilliland, photography editor; senior staff writers Gracie Durzo, Lauren Rhoten and Ryan Sarapa; and staff writers Cassandra Donley, Chris Hoffman, Caroline Iregui, Bobby James, Isaac Krieger, Rachel McLaughlin, Charlie Palmer, Ryler Rakers, Drew Sheleheda, Addey Kane, Faith Myers and Karthik Ramadugu.
English teacher Dave Morris serves as adviser.
• Elena Arnold, Cole Dorn, Michael Mosbacher and Anne Wiethorn were named to the dean’s list at Saint Francis University for the fall 2024 semester.
• Sam Lopuszynski was named to the president’s list at Mississippi State University for the fall 2024 semester.
• Jillian Minsky was named to the president’s list at Saint Francis University for the fall 2024 semester.
• Arianna Tegtmeier was named to the dean’s list at the College of Charleston for the fall 2024 semester.
