Renowned flutist will play free concert in Murrysville

World-class flutist Bart Feller will perform a free flute recital Feb. 11 alongside two local musicians.

Feller, who has served as principal flutist for the New Jersey Symphony and the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra will play an 8 p.m. recital at Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church in Murrysville.

He will be joined by flutist Dan Parasky and pianist Matt Klumpp.

Feller has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and more. He is a faculty member at the Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division and at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts.

There is no cost to attend. The church is at 4600 Old William Penn Highway in Murrysville.
