Pittsburgh air travelers have a new direct destination available to them.

Breeze Airways will start offering flights to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the summer, according to a Pittsburgh International Airport release.

This is the 13th destination Breeze Airways offers at the Pittsburgh airport — including Charleston, S.C.; Fort Myers, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville, Fla.; New Orleans; Los Angeles; Raleigh, N.C.; Providence, R.I.; San Diego; Portland, Maine; Hartford, Conn.; and Norfolk, Va.

One-way fares start at $49, according to the Pittsburgh airport.

Breeze Airways, which launched service at Pittsburgh International Airport in July 2021, operates more than 200 year-round and seasonal routes to 66 cities and 30 states.

More than 620,000 passengers traveled through the Pittsburgh airport in January 2024 — a 5.2% increase in passengers from January 2023.
