After 23 years, the Hard Rock Café Pittsburgh will close.
The final day for the establishment, which opened June. 24, 2002, in Station Square in Pittsburgh’s South Side, is Feb. 13.
The closure was confirmed in an emailed statement Friday from Hard Rock International.
“Hard Rock has enjoyed serving the Pittsburgh community for nearly 23 years and playing a role in the city’s celebrated dining culture,” the statement said. “ We are so grateful to our incredible team members and fans in the Steel City for their support and memories all this time. “
The Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh was the venue for various musical acts, including Women Who Rock, a female-founded brand dedicated to supporting women in music and raising money for Magee-Womens Research Institute.
The reason for the closure is that the lease expires in February 2025.
Hard Rock International has 314 locations in 74 countries.
