Car hits woman in Downtown Pittsburgh

A woman hit by car in Downtown Pittsburgh late Saturday night was reported hospitalized in serious, but stable condition, Pittsburgh Police said.

The woman who suffered a possible broken leg was hit in the area of Sixth Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard shortly before 10 p.m., police said.

Medics transported her to the hospital and the motorist remained at the scene of the accident, police said.
