Minor league report: Taylor Gauthier, Nailers shut out Wings

Goaltender Taylor Gauthier stopped all 24 shots he faced and led the Wheeling Nailers to a 4-0 shutout of the Kalamazoo Wings at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va. on Sunday.

The shutout was Gauthier’s first of the season at the ECHL level and boosted his record to 5-5-0.

Forward Dillon Hamaliuk scored two goals for Wheeling (9-9-1-0) while forward Jordan Frasca contributed three assists.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Indy Fuel on Friday, 8 p.m.
