Irwin Borough’s assistant manager has resigned from her job.

Stacie Santimyer’s resignation was accepted at a borough council meeting Tuesday, effective immediately.

Santimyer was hired in September 2019, after Shari Martino, who had been the assistant manager, was promoted to the manager’s position the previous month.

Katelind Sartori is the only other administrative employee in the borough office. She was promoted in August to a full-time position as the billing and lien supervisor and assistant code enforcement officer at an annual salary of $31,200.

Martino said the borough plans to fill the vacancy, but declined further comment. Council is scheduled to meet on Oct. 12.
