Police: Man killed in White Oak crash, another person hospitalized

A man was killed and another person injured in a three-vehicle crash in White Oak on Friday afternoon, Allegheny County Police reported.

The crash happened around 12:40 p.m. along the 3100 block of Jacks Run Road.

Police said first responders found a man deceased when they arrived. Another person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Allegheny County Police detectives and collision reconstruction officers are investigating.

County dispatchers said the road remained closed as of 5 p.m. It was unclear when it may reopen.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the county police tipline at 833-ALL-TIPS.

Callers can remain anonymous.
