It’s officially fall now, but the Pumpkin Spice Cartel wasn’t waiting around for the official start.

The now-ubiquitous “fall” flavor has probably been around in most places since mid-July, along with the Halloween Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. But that’s not going to stop us from trying out five varieties including chains and local independent coffee shops.

Who has our favorite pumpkin-spice latte? We tried Sheetz, Starbucks, Dunkin’, the Daily Grind in New Stanton and the White Rabbit in Greensburg.

We may have to keep this coffee taste-test thing going. After all, National Coffee Day is coming up on Sept. 29!

Special thanks to reader Christine Bair for the suggestion — what would you like to see the TribLive Test Team try? Send us a suggestion!
