This fall, the Sharp Edge in Sewickley will be no more. In its place at the rear of 510 Beaver St. will be a new Caliente Pizza & Draft House location.

It will be one of two new locations. The other will go in the Sharp Edge’s Crafton location.

The Sewickley location will remain open until August or September, according to Caliente owner Nick Bogacz.

The Sewickley and Crafton locations will be Caliente’s sixth and seventh restaurants.

“In 2019, we announced our plans to open a new location in Green Tree, but the pandemic had other plans for us,” Bogacz said. “We were honored to work with Jeff Walewski on taking over the Sharp Edge locations, both of which offer optimal kitchen spaces and tap systems.”

Bogacz, who owns Caliente along with his wife, Angie, said that the small-town charm of Sewickley has always had the couple’s attention as they mapped out the future of their business.

Renovations on the space will begin in the fall, and Bogacz said that all of the Sharp Edge employees have been offered to stay on as Caliente employees – and that they plan on doing just that.
