Police: Man arrives at Pittsburgh hospital shot in the elbow

Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting after a man showed up to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his elbow.

Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 8:45 p.m. Thursday reporting possible gunshots along the 3600 block of Perrysville Avenue.

Cruz said a wounded man arrived at a hospital in stable condition a short time later.

The man told police he was shot along Perrysville Avenue by two unknown men.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting can contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
