North Allegheny School Board vice president Andrew J. Chomos has been appointed to the role of chief operating officer for The Bradley Center, a non-profit residential treatment facility and K-12 school in Pittsburgh’s Robinson Township that specializes in helping children who are recovering from the effects of abuse, trauma, and behavioral disorders.

According to a news release, he assumed the duties of the organization’s COO role on Oct. 26.

Chomos has been a member of The Bradley Center’s Board of Trustees since 2014.

“Andy’s proven leadership and his 35 years of professional logistical experience will help ensure that Bradley continues to do all we can to optimize our safety, security and efficiency during this unprecedented time, helping us to lead Bradley safely through this pandemic and into a bold new future where we can help even more children who need us to build lives of possibility,” said Lisa Fox, CEO of The Bradley Center, in the release.

Prior to becoming Bradley’s COO, Chomos served on The Bradley Center’s Board of Trustees’ Finance, Audit, and Strategic Planning committees. His most recent work experience is in the medical devices sector, as the general manager and senior vice president of operations at Inspirata and previously as the CEO/CFO of Omnyx.

Chomos’ career and expertise spans fields ranging from industrial to medical, with specialized focuses in accounting, strategic planning, internal controls, enterprise resource management and risk management.
