The Tull Family Theater is preparing for a soft opening on Friday, with limited occupancy and strict adherence to state guidelines.

According to an email from the nonprofit, preparations include a new air purification and ionization system, virucides sprayed between screenings and other health and safety protocols.

Detailed information is available at www.thetullfamilytheater.org along with a what-to-expect video. Check the website for tickets, showtimes and any guideline changes.

Masks must be worn in the screening rooms, unless eating or drinking, and in the lobby, restrooms and common areas — except for patrons with restrictive medical conditions and children under 2 years old.

Occupancy limits are now 25 in the Large Screening Room and 18 in the Huntington Bank Screening Room. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance, or to contact the theater for a private screening at hello@thetullfamilytheater.org or 412-259-8542.

Tickets are $5 and available for “Cinema Paradiso,” the Oscar-winning Italian film, “The Greatest Showman,” and Disney’s “The Avengers” and “Zootopia.”
