A Duquesne man is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in North Versailles.

Allegheny County Police on Friday issued an arrest warrant for Calvonte Moore, 20, for his alleged role in the murder of Jamey Green, 29, of West Mifflin.

Green was killed Wednesday in an apartment complex along the 500 block of East Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard.

Officers responded to the area around 1:45 a.m. for a call of a man shot in the Green Valley Flats apartments.

Authorities said medics found the victim and attempted life-saving measures, but Green died at the scene.

Moore’s charged with criminal homicide and person not to possess firearms.

He’s described as a black man standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build.

County police said Moore is known to frequent the Duquesne area.

Anyone seeing him should call 911 immediately. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call the Allegheny County Police tip line at 833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
