Pittsburgh police said they are searching for three suspects in connection with a shooting in the city’s Troy Hill neighborhood on Monday.
Officers from the Zone 1 station in the North Side responding to a call for a person shot along the 1400 block of Claim Street around 6 p.m. found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, according to a public safety spokeswoman.
The officers applied a tourniquet to the wound until an emergency medical service crew arrived. The woman was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
Three males were reportedly seen running from the area.
