Three Penn Hills High School seniors were recently awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Penn Hills Rotary Club.

Recipients were Taylor Clayborn, Katrice Stallworth and Claire McDevitt.

The ceremony took place June 19 at Three Lakes Golf Course along Saltsburg Road.

Rotary officials said scholarship sponsors were Krise Transportation, Grifols and Premier Medical.

The rotary also inducted four new members at the ceremony. They were Rose Petrucci, Jennifer Coen, Kathy Sutton and Tyler Tomasino. This brings the club’s membership to 22. It’s current president is Karen Lantz.
