The owners of Dad’s Pub and Grub restaurants announced Saturday that they have temporarily closed both locations after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to a notice posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page, the owners said that locations in Monroeville and Braddock Hills as well as its food truck will be cleaned and employees will be tested for the virus.

“Ownership believes that this is the only way that we can keep our customers and employees safe. We are taking every necessary step recommended by the Allegheny County Health Department and CDC. We apologize for any inconvenience,” according to the business’s Facebook post.

The owners could not be reached for comment Saturday afternoon.

The restaurants reopened for inside dining on June 5, according to its website.
